Dundas
As a child, my maternal grandfather used to take me downtown. We'd visit the Dragon City Mall at Spadina and Dundas, then sometimes walk east on Dundas to Yonge and the Eaton Centre. One time we went down into the PATH, the underground pedestrian tunnels that connect much of the downtown core toward Lake Ontario. It was in the evening so most of the shops were closed or closing.
I won't say we were lost; that would imply we were purposely moving to a specific location. However, it would be fair to say that we had little idea where we were; navigating the PATH was, and is, a user unfriendly experience. We finally emerged in a hotel. Somewhere.
College to North York Centre
Bloor-Yonge is an interchange between the Yonge-University-Spadina and Bloor-Danforth lines, with the platforms being labelled "Bloor" and "Yonge" respectively. The transfers are labelled for, and in the style typical of, the Yonge-University-Spadina line, but are "issued at" Yonge, not Bloor.
